Custom Netting Designs and Nylon Nets with Notches and Shape Features

At Gourock.com we consistently supply netting productions and nets that are constructed to customized sizes and dimensions.  As a specialist firm dealing in high-quality custom netting, we have provided thousands of unique nets with individual sizing and shape features.  Netting is a fantastic solution for a huge variety of different needs and applications, with uses spanning across dozens of popular industries and markets.  At Gourock.com, we offer 100% Made in USA nets that are built per-order according to your own particular sizing necessities, and they are available directly online through our Online Custom Netting Calculator.  As an expert in e-commerce netting supply for the last 20 years, you have immediate access to premium nets, netting productions, and mesh materials - direct to your door.

We have availability for a few different types of netting materials, with an emphasis on the highest-quality DuPont® Type 66-728 Twisted-Knotted Nylon NettingGourock.com features a large selection of netting mesh sizes and twine thicknesses, so you can source the best net choice for your project - and have the nets prepared to whatever specific sizing you prefer to be working with.

In addition to nylon netting panels that are constructed to rectangular/square sizing, we also have options to further customize the nets to incorporate more specific or particular shape features as well.  For instance, there are many different situations in which the final netting product needs to have a notched-area, cut-out area, or other similar sort of shape design built.  The reasons for these sorts of notched-designs are to account for some sort of object, door, structure, or other similar impediment that is in the area of intended netting coverage.  With Gourock.com you can have the netting built to accommodate these sorts of situations, allowing you to achieve the best fit, function, and appearance of the completed netting installation.

Here are four recent examples of some of the custom nylon netting panels that we have shipped out to some of our customers, including a bit of context on what type of netting was used and what the intended purpose of the netting and notch features are.  All of these nets were constructed from the twisted-knotted nylon netting, 100% Made in USA, and produced to be ready to ship within one business week (each).  If you have questions or inquiries about custom netting, or to be quoted on a netting project you have in mind, please feel free to contact us directly at Gourock.com and we can assist!

Example 1:
This is a custom net that is 5'-11" X 9' with a corner notch area that is 2'-8" X 2'-10".  The netting type used for this product was the #72 X 1-3/4" knotted nylon, provided in a diamond mesh pattern, with a 5/16" Dacron® rope bordered edge.  The notch design in this net was needed so that the netting could be installed within an empty space around a door area within a framing structure, and the netting is intended to block and contain baseballs and softballs.

Example 2:
This is a custom netting design that is 15' X 15', with a central notch area in the middle of the bottom edge that is 6' X 2'-6".  This custom netting panel was built from #21 X 1-3/4" knotted nylon, prepared in a square mesh pattern, and perimeter bordered with 5/16" Dacron® rope edging.  There were 2 nets of this sizing and shape produced for our customer, and the netting was intended for use in an outdoor art exhibit, in-which the notch area is being used as an entrance portal through the space.

Example 3:
This is a custom netting design that was built for one of our clients at an indoor soccer facility, and they use barrier netting to contain errant soccer balls from leaving the playing field.  This netting design is 11' X 55' with a central notch area that is 2' X 9'-10", in order for the overall netting panel to properly fit over the top of an entrance door that they have.  The netting is the #30 X 4" knotted nylon, built in a square mesh pattern, with the 5/16" rope bordered edge around the perimeter - and there were 2 of these nets shipped out to the location.

Example 4:
This custom netting production is 9'-6" X 17' in overall sizing, and has a built-in corner notch feature measuring 1'-2" X 3'-7".  This netting panel was constructed from the #21 X 3/4" twisted-knotted nylon netting, with a 5/16" Dacron rope border on the top and side edges, and a weighted-rope bottom edge sewn-in.  This netting is being used as a golf and multi-sport impact net in an indoor residential location, and the notch is there so that the netting panel accounts for a heating vent that is running through the space.

Many thanks to all of our custom netting customers and clients!  We appreciate your business very much, and it is our pleasure to be your custom netting source!

Netting and custom nets are really great solutions for a variety of different protective, containment, exclusion, and general safety needs.  When you think about different situations in which objects need to be blocked, contained, or protected in some manner - the use of netting or barrier nets is a dependable and convenient approach to solving the issue.  For instance, there are many customers of ours that utilize netting to keep objects from falling off racks and shelving, or similar purposes.  In addition, there are a lot of Gourock customers that need to protect different areas from debris, errant objects, or other blockade needs.  Whether it be an industrial site, gymnasium, driving range, athletic field-house, warehouse, distribution center, naval ship, residential home, scholastic and municipal location, collegiate location, or most any other unique space, Gourock.com has most likely supplied high-quality netting and custom nets for it.  As a longtime leader in netting supply and e-commerce, Gourock.com conveniently offers custom netting for your immediate sourcing directly through our site and Online Custom Netting Calculator.

Of course, there are also many customer and client netting needs that are best handled with nets that incorporate more specific shape details.  In many cases this means that the area that the netting is going to be installed within has a particular shape that is non-square or rectangular.  With Gourock you can have netting panels constructed to your specific shape and sizing needs, which allows for the best possible fit and performance.  In many cases the preferred solution is to have nets built that feature angles, tapers, or triangular shapes.

Throughout our Gourock.com site and company blog we present many different examples of custom tapered or angled nets that are used for a very wide variety of different uses.  The most popular material that we supply for custom netting panels is the 100% Made in USA DuPont® Twisted-Knotted Nylon Netting, which is a very durable and high-quality mesh.  At Gourock we have a selection of mesh sizes and twine thicknesses available to best-match the performance needs that you require for your containment, exclusion, or safety needs.  We also have some other American Made mesh options available as well, such as Polyester debris fabric and HDPE debris shade cloth.  We invite you to get in touch with us here at Gourock.com to quote you on specialized custom netting shapes that you may need for your space.  With fast production turnaround times and factory-direct netting supply, Gourock.com is your dependable supplier of high-quality Made in USA netting fabrications that fit your installation with precision.

Here are 4 recent examples from the last few weeks that help demonstrate some of the uniquely customized shape and sizing capabilities available from us here at Gourock Netting and Custom Nets.

TRIANGULAR NETTING PANELS:
These 2 drawings showing the triangular shapes were a series of custom nets that were built from #21 X 3/4" twisted-knotted nylon netting.  There were 7 nets total for the overall supply job, and all of the nets were finished-off with a 1-1/2" webbing bordered with brass grommets stamped into the edging every 12" (entire perimeter).  These nets were built to this specialized shape because our customer needed to block particular areas of his golf driving range hitting bays.  At the driving range site they were having some issues with errant golf drives and shots flying over the general barrier netting that was already surrounding the location.  The preferred solution were triangular netting panels that properly fill-in the problem areas of the hitting bay.  The webbing and grommet bordering allows for convenient attachment points to the existing framing/rafters, and the 3/4" mesh size performs perfectly for blocking and containing full-velocity golf ball shots.  Nets like these are typically produced and ready to ship out within 7-10 business days.

TRAPEZOIDAL NETTING PANELS:

The image that displays a series of netting panels demonstrates a collection of custom nets that were constructed from 1/4" Polyester Debris Mesh.  The overall job included a series of 10 rectangular and tapered netting panels, all of which were 1-1/2" webbing bordered with grommets placed in specific locations.  These nets were designed and produced in these specialized shapes and sizes in order to properly line-up with different openings along a mezzanine storage area at a residential location.  Our customer had a situation where they had a requirement to contain boxes what were located up within the mezzanine storage platform, with the intention of making sure nothing was able to fall out during seismic activity or earthquake.  The small 1/4" mesh size was preferred in order to create a more "screen-like" visual effect in front of the storage space, and the webbing/grommet border was used in order to have some specifically-located attachment points for hooks.  Nets like these are typically produced and ready to ship out within 7-10 business days.

TAPERED SHAPE NETTING PANEL:
The netting panel shown with the customized tapered and angled corner feature was produced from HDPE 50% Shade Debris Cloth, with a sewn-in cord edge to finish-off the perimeter edges.  This netting panel was built to this specific sizing and shape in order to properly line-up with the walls of a residential room that needed a debris barrier to cover the ceiling.  The angled area was incorporated into the netting area in order to provide debris mesh coverage over the stairway location of the space.  Building this custom-shaped net worked out very well for our customer because they could use one single netting cover to effectively cover the ceiling area, rather than needing to makeshift a solution from multiple different sections of rectangular netting.  The shade cloth debris cloth was selected in order to have maximum protection against all debris, including very small objects.  Nets like these are typically produced and ready to ship out within 7-10 business days.
Many thanks to all of our very appreciated custom netting customers and clients!  We are proud to be your high-quality netting supplier, and we appreciate your business very much!

Barrier Netting and Containment Nets for Industrial Installations

Barrier Netting and Containment Nets for Industrial Installations

At Gourock.com we specialize in the supply of netting, custom nets, and netting productions that are utilized within a wide-range of different applications.  Industrial sites and industrial working locations are a couple of these types of spaces that have many uses for the nets that we provide.  Netting is a fantastic solution for many different situations at industrial locations - usually to facilitate a containment, blockade/barrier, protective, or exclusion need at the site.

Over the years we have shipped out custom nets for many industrial, infrastructural, government, and heavy-industry locations and sites.  Gourock.com specializes in custom netting panels and nets that are constructed to most any custom dimensional and size needs, allowing for effective coverage throughout the area of install and blockade necessity.  Using materials such as the highest-quality DuPont® Type 66-728 Twisted-Knotted Nylon results in very high durability and strength features.  In addition, Gourock also offers high performance selections such as DuPont® Kevlar Model 956 and High Molecular Weight Polyethylene.  These materials and netting fabrications are all 100% Made in USA, and are produced with fast turnaround times.

Many industrial sites require netting to surround certain areas in order to act as a barrier against debris, foreign objects, birds/animals, or other unique instances of containment.  For instance, landfills and waste facilities utilize vertical barrier nets surrounding various areas of the location to aid in trash and refuse containment.  Or as another example, an industrial processing site may utilize barrier netting over the tops of containment tanks, retainment ponds, or within pavilion structures in order to serve bird exclusion and general blockade purposes.  At Gourock.com we have lots of experience with all of these types of nets, and allow for convenient access to custom-produced sizes so that our industrial netting customers get the best match for their needs.

As with many vertical barrier netting installations, the netting panels that we supply are typically installed within a series of stout poles or posts that have tensioned wires spanned between them.  These tensioned wires are the connection points in which the rope bordering of the netting is clipped or connected to, often by utilizing spring-loaded snap-hooks (carabiner-style clips).  We offer some great additional context about this type of netting installation approach on our site and also throughout the Gourock blog.  Here are a few photos of a relatively recent barrier netting installation in Georgia that we supplied the custom netting panels for.  The overall installation involved a dozen different nets or so, and they were all clipped up to a series of tensioned wires and wood power-line poles.  The nets were constructed from heavy-duty #36 X 1-3/4" DuPont® Twisted-Knotted Nylon, and rope bordered with 5/16" braided Dacron® lines.  In addition, each netting panel also incorporated a separate rope-line installed horizontally through the netting which lines up with a central wire within the installation area.  The connection between the central wire and the rope-line of the netting help mitigate the movement of the netting in wind.

Many thanks again to all of our custom netting clients and customers - we appreciate your business very much and it's always great working with you!
